“A TIME OF SHARING”
October 2, 2005

Photography - Skip Hipp

We don’t sorrow, as the world sorrows,
if we die as Christians,
because of the Hope
that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ .
We know that we will be together again!

Scripture Reading - by Maureen Buckner

“…Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written,
DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY.
“O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH,
WHERE IS YOUR STING?”
1 Corinthians 15:50-55

“I will meet you in the morning,
I will meet you in the morning,
Just inside the Eastern Gates over there.”
Song given to Maureen

A Time of Sharing
Kelly Trusted
by Ernie Schmidt

Kelly prayed in the last days of her life.
She became as a child, dependent on those around her.
The Good Lord, in His Mercy, surrounded Kelly with love and caring from her girls.
Maureen was with her day and night, Terry on weekends,
praying soothing and giving comfort to a dieing mother.
Sandy came from L.A. when she could, to sit with her and hold her frail little hands.
The girls did exactly what God expected of them,
loving and honoring the wishes of a dieing mother.
GOD BLESS the girls!

KELLY’S PRAYER AT THE LAST HOUR
by Ernie Schmidt

Lord, I trust you completely.

Lord I worship you above all,
then I will be prepared to see you in full splendor in the day I meet you.

Let me hear you speak to my Heart. Let me get used to your voice, so when I die the only sound will be the music of your voice.
Make Heaven more real to me than earthly things.
Show me how to die that I may rise again to new life,
that I would live daily for you, so I would be accustomed to your GLORY,
when I enter HEAVEN to live with you FOREVER
Amen.

A Tribute to GIGI - Read by Nioma Merchant
Kelsea Merchant had interviewed her Great Grandmother GIGI, and written an article about her childhood and life. It sounded like some of her life was very hard!
We were blessed to be able to hear a great granddaughter’s composition.

A Song sung in remembrance

We are also thankful for everyone’s love, support and friendship, during these last years
to us and to our Mother!

I am enjoying your blog. I have been looking for a very dear old friend. . She lives in California. I can't tell even when I compare an old photo of her if you and she are the same person. I am "face-blind"it's difficult for me to see . Her name is Linda Stoneman and I miss her very much. If this is you, please let me know. In Christ, Ellen
